7 Sons Wellness was a natural next step — because the foundation was already there. Founder Alice Peterson grew up in a family where the land wasn't just a livelihood, it was a legacy. Her father, William B. Peterson, founded Peterson Farms, and her brother Bill established Kentucky Heritage Hemp, where her organic hemp is extracted and processed to the highest standards. When the opportunity arose to bring these world-class ingredients directly to wellness consumers, Alice simply connected the dots.
Alice and Bill’s father was one of seven sons. The company name, 7 Sons, acknowledges that we stand on the shoulders of our giant forefathers (and mothers!).
The Peterson family has been farming for 13 generations — a lineage that stretches back to 17th-century Holland, with roots first planted on Manhattan Island before spreading across generations and geographies to the rich soil of Kentucky. That history isn't just a story. It's in every plant grown, every batch processed, and every product bearing the 7 Sons name.
